Florida Dispute Resolution Center in Tallahassee, FL Supports Toby Center's Research in Domestic Violence.
Sharon Press, Director of the Florida Dispute Resolution Center which serves to license and guide ethical behavior of Florida State Mediators has issued a letter of support for the Toby Center Research Department's study in Domestic Violence.
This study is based on a pilot study conducted by The Toby Center in Spring 2009. It will provide a comprehensive examination of Domestic Violence perceptions among professional family practitioners with particular interest in Family Court Mediators.
The Toby Center Research Department is a collaboration which includes The Toby Center's Director, Mark Roseman, Ph.D. , Professor Susan Horwitz, Ph.D., from the University of Rochester's Institute for the Family and Professor Kathryn Jervis, Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Horwitz is a nationally known specialist in Domestic Violence, notably partner abuse. Dr. Jervis is a business analysist and forensics researcher who specializes in examining ethical standards and policy, particularly within the medical and municipal sectors.

Reception for the national Children's Rights Council held at the Residence of French Ambassador to United States, His Excellency Pierre Vimont in Washington, DC Wednesday, June 17 at 6:00pm. Ambassador Vimont said that the reception is hosted by "to demonstrate the support of my country in the Children's Rights Council's outstanding fight for the rights of our children."

Community Justice Service Center West Palm Beach, FL The CJSC began service in 1999 as a means to relieve the Criminal Courts of low level crime cases and to provide alternatives to traditional court proceedings and punishment. The CJSC is a part of the WPB Community and offers all residents access to social work services. Dr. Roseman spoke in behalf of the CJSC in its appeal for continued municipal funding.
