PASG 2023 Call for Papers and Registration!

The 5th conference of the Parental Alienation Study group will be held from June 16-18th, 2023 in beautiful Fort Collins, CO, USA. All presentations will be made in person, and the conference will be live-streamed and recorded.

The conference registration website is up and ready!  Note there are a limited number of on-campus housing options that are very inexpensive, available on a first come-first serve basis. Parking will be free, and there will also be live streaming of the event for those who are unable to travel and join us in person.

Several priority topics will be a focus of the conference due to their timely nature– we are particularly interested in presentation proposals focused on the following:

•       Kayden’s/Keira’s law and related legislative efforts
•       Identifying and combatting mis/disinformation about parental alienation (in science, the court, media, and publishing)
•       Evidence based interventions for parental alienation
•       Family violence, parental alienation, and shared parenting
•       Interdisciplinary efforts to address parental alienation
•       The voice of the child in court and mental health practice
•       Advances in child custody evaluation practice
•       Clinical and legal issues in the treatment of alienating parents and families
•       Parental alienation in different international and legal contexts
•       Resilience and vulnerability to parental alienation
•       New scientific advances (e.g., outcomes, associative pathways)
•       Dissemination of accurate information about parental alienation: in the court, community, and larger culture
We invite submissions for presentations that correspond to completed scientific research, practical accounts, and professional issues related to these topics, as well as other related issues. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please prepare a title and abstract for your proposal (no longer than 250 words), as well as a bio about yourself. Submissions will be accepted until Monday, January 2nd, 2023. Submitters can select whether they want their proposal to be considered as an oral presentation, a poster presentation, or both (we may not have room in the schedule for all oral proposals).
We also particularly encourage proposals from young/new scholars in the field and have a special registration rate for students.
